Ages & Availability
I am an Ofsted-registered childminder with over 20 years of experience. I care for children from birth onwards, offering flexible childcare Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm all throughout the year, including school holidays.
Types of Care
Whether you need full-time care, part-time sessions, or holiday care, I can tailor my services to suit your family's needs. I also offer school drop-off and pick-up within Littlemore. I'm experienced in caring for multiple age groups together, creating a nurturing family-style environment where older and younger children learn from one another.
Daily Routine
Each day at Little Acorn Explorers is thoughtfully structured yet flexible. Mornings typically include creative activities, learning through play, and outdoor exploration when weather permits. After lunch and quiet time, afternoons offer a mix of child-led play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and physical activities. Our routine provides reassuring structure while allowing children the freedom to explore their interests and develop at their own pace.
Meals and Nutrition
I provide freshly prepared, home-cooked meals and healthy snacks throughout the day. All food is nutritious and balanced, avoiding excessive salt, sugar, and processed ingredients. I happily accommodate all dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural preferences.

Learning and Play
My approach centres on hands-on exploration and discovery. From imaginative play and outdoor adventures to early literacy, music, and creative arts, every activity is designed to spark curiosity and support development across all seven areas of learning. Children are encouraged to be little explorers, discovering their world, building confidence, and developing the skills they need for school and beyond.
